This is a complete screen assembly for the iPod Touch Gen 4. This includes the LCD and Touch panel fused together at the factory to make a complete screen. Just like the iPhone 4 unit the iPod Touch Gen 4 screen is not capable of having the touch panel or LCD replaced by them self. You must replace the complete screen assembly in order to fix a broken screen on this unit.
