Step 1 - You Will Need The Following Tools:
T5 Torx Driver
Shim Tool
A Soldering Iron
Warning! This
Repair Requires Soldering!
Proceed at your own risk. |

Step 2
- Flip over your Tungsten-E unit and remove the 4 screws using the
T5 Torx Driver located in the red circles of the picture. |

Step 3
- Now you will need to release the tabs with your shim tool, this
may take a little time. |

Step 4
- Keep light opening pressure with your fingers on the area once you
have released a tab. (try and keep the frame from relocking back
into the tabs again) |

Step 5
- continue doing the same on the next tab and so forth |

Step 6
- until the frame of the Tungsten E unit finally opens. |

Step 7
- This picture shows the unit open with the battery exposed - but
still soldered to the unit. |

Step 8
- You will need to remove the battery from the motherboard of the
Tungsten E - it is attached by double sided tape and may require
some pressue to remove. |

Step 9
- Now you will have to do some soldering (2 wires) to release the
old battery and replace the new battery.
